There's only so much horror, comedy and horror-comedy – the staples in the Cambodian film industry – that audiences can take before eventually losing interest and turning to anything but local movies for their cinematic enjoyment. With this in mind, the team behind "Jailbreak" decides to shake things up a little by bringing some action into the mix.

Non-stop action is what "Jailbreak" is all about. Martial arts enthusiasts should be well aware of the fighting techniques used in the movie, which consist largely of Khmer martial art, Bokator.

The star-studded event was attended by some of the biggest names in the local entertainment industry such as Pich Sophea, Chhim Sakada, Kmeng Khmer and more! Director Jimmy Henderson, producer Loy Te, and main cast Dara Our, Savin Phillip, Tharoth Sam and Sisowath Siriwudd

The long-awaited Cambodian action movie, "Jailbreak", finally made its premiere yesterday, held at Legend Toul Kork.

Directed by Jimmy Henderson, the movie stars some of Cambodia's best – not to mention French-Cambodian actor Jean-Paul Ly, who's appeared in various Hollywood productions.
